My favorite KIND bar to date is the Dark Chocolate Chunk with 5 supergrains including quinoa. I feel like I’m eating a chewy, rice krispie treat with dark chocolate, yet interesting texture crunches, that is not too sweet. At 150 calories, single digits of sugar (8 gms) and close to 3 gms of fiber its a far better mid afternoon snack then anything the gift shop or vending machine has to offer.
What about the #newflavors?
KIND Nuts & Spices
- Honey Roasted Nuts & Sea Salt
- Dark Chocolate Almond Mint
- Black Truffle Almond & Sea Salt
Each of these are less than 200 calories, contain between 15-17 grams of carbohydrate, less than 5 grams of sugar (yes this is single digits plus!), 4-6 grams of fiber, less than 10% saturated fat and 5-6 grams of protein. The daily value for vitamins and minerals contain calcium, iron, Vitamin E, B12 and magnesium just to name a few athlete loving nutrients.
Fruit & Nut
- Raspberry Cashew & Chia
- Dark Chocolate Almond & Coconut
Each of these are less than 190 calories, contain between 21-22 grams of carbohydrate, less than 10-12 grams of sugar (natural not added), 2.5-4 grams of fiber, less than 10% saturated fat (raspberry version only) and 3-4 grams of protein.
All are low glycemic index, no sugar alcohols, no genetically engineered ingredients and made in the USA! Note to KIND: Wouldn’t it be fun if you held a “create our next KIND bar” flavor combination competition? I call the Reeces Peanut Butter Cup or a chocolate chip & chia cookie dough concoction!
